On Tuesday (Oct. 8), the legendary producers announced an epic new Verzuz battle between two of the most iconic hip-hop labels of all time: Cash Money Records vs. No Limit Records.
The showdown goes down October 25 at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, marking the highly anticipated return of the hit battle series. Billed as a “celebration” of hip-hop history, the event will be livestreamed, though streaming platform details haven’t been fully revealed yet.
The Heavyweights Are Already Talking
Shortly after the announcement, Cash Money’s Birdman, Juvenile, and B.G. shared the official flyer, while No Limit legends Master P, Silkk The Shocker, and Mia X also joined in the hype.
Both powerhouse labels recently celebrated 30 years in the game, making this Verzuz not just a battle — but a cultural moment.
A New Era for Verzuz
This marks the first Verzuz in over three years, following the last battle between Omarion and Mario. Since then, Timbo and Swizz have signed an exclusive distribution deal with X, the platform formerly owned by Elon Musk. While it’s not confirmed whether this match-up will stream exclusively there, X has hosted Verzuz events in the past.
