Lil Durk’s Defense “Snitches” On OTF Vonnie for Alleged Murder Plot

Lil Durk’s defense claims OTF Vonnie masterminded the alleged Quando Rondo hit.
Lil Durk‘s situation has a plot twist and fingers are pointing to OTF Vonnie. I did not even know who this was, but I did my homework.
Durk’s defense attorney, Marissa Goldberg, told jurors that her client “had nothing to do” with the 2022 Los Angeles shooting that killed Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson. This was the day they tried – allegedly – to take Quando Rando smooth out. She identified Kavon Grant, also known as OTF Vonnie, as the mastermind. Grant has pleaded guilty and is expected to testify for the prosecution. We call that cooperating. He’s going against his friend.
So, is Durk telling on his boy?
Durk is not taking the witness stand and pointing across the courtroom. It is his defense team offering jurors an alternate explanation for the evidence. That distinction matters, right? It does not matter in these streets. The comments section is in shambles. Did he snitch, did he not snitch?

Attorney Goldberg described Vonnie as King Von’s cousin and said the two men were “as close as two men could possibly be.” She also claimed Grant was beside Von after the rapper was shot in Atlanta in 2020. According to the attorney, Von asked him, “Why did you let me get shot? Why didn’t you do something?” That’s terrible.

Those alleged final words are the defense’s main theory. Goldberg argued that Grant had his own emotional motive to get revenge. He also had the criminal links, along with \ access to Durk’s credit cards. She accused him of arranging vehicles, a false license plate, firearms and ski masks connected to the alleged plot.
“He did all of this,” Goldberg told the jury, per Courthouse News.
Federal prosecutors tell a different story. They say Durk financed the effort to kill Quando Rondo in retaliation for King Von’s death. There is so much more to this.
We now know Q.Rondo survived the Los Angeles ambush, but his cousin Robinson was sent to the grave. Durk has pleaded not guilty and faces life in prison if convicted.
Prosecutors say Vonnie acted for Durk. Durk’s lawyers say Vonnie acted for himself.
