On Tuesday, TKO Group Holdings announced that WWE’s WrestleMania XLÂ extravaganza was the “most successful and highest-grossing event in company history.”
Tickets sold for the two-night event at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were up 78% from 2023’s event, the previous record holder. The 40th installment of WrestleMania drew 145,298 people from all 50 states and 64 countries, WWE says.Â
Further, viewership jumped 41 percent from 2023, what with The Rock‘s tag team victory with cousin Roman Reigns over Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes Saturday night; the appearance of superstars John Cena and The Undertaker; and even stars like the NFL’s Jason Kelce getting in the ring during the weekend’s festivities.
Ultimately, Rhodes beat Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on Sunday, and the organization says the WWE’s YouTube channel saw more than 67 million views in 24 hours. Overall, the event attracted some 660 million views across social media, the press release said.

It’s a rare occasion when Rihanna shares an update about her music, especially after years of making headlines for her babies and businesses. Fortunately for fans, she gave some tidbits on her process of creating her long-awaited album R9 during her cover story for Interview magazine.
âI have a lot of visual ideas. Itâs weird. My brain is working backward right now. I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now Iâm having all of these visuals,” Rihanna said.
She notes the visuals have not yet been translated into songs but believes they may end up “leading me to the songs that I need to make.â
âRandom ideas, quirky ideas, things that have nothing to do with me at all,” Rih added.
One of the people who have something to do with Rihanna is boyfriend A$AP Rocky. She recalled the time he grabbed her butt during their performance of âCockiness (Love It)â at the 2012 VMAs and her team guessed she liked him because she didn’t react in a negative way.
Several years later, in 2019, they chose to date, proceeding with caution. âWeâve known each other for a long time. Iâve seen him in relationships. Heâs seen me in relationships. Weâve seen each other outside of relationships,” Rih explained. “We knew what weâre capable of, and the trouble that we could bring to each otherâs lives. We can make or break each otherâs hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution.â
The two are now parents to sons RZA and Riot, but Rih says she’ll go for “as many as God wants me to have.”
âI would try for my girl,” she says. “But of course, if itâs another boy, itâs another boy.”
