‘And THAT’S That!‘: Jamaal Bowman Talks About The ‘S**tshow,’ What’s At Stake In 2020

We’re dwell, child!
For the primary episode of our new podcast “And THAT’S That!,” we knew we needed to welcome a visitor who might match our steez ― somebody proudly, loudly and unquestionably Black, unbothered by his haters and with an unusual quantity of vitality. We needed somebody whose spirit would assist set the tone for the kinds of wide-ranging convos we’ll be having with y’all every week.
Enter Jamaal Bowman from New York, a rising star of the Democratic Occasion, a former faculty principal and ― we should always say ― an authorized rhyme-spitter.
Bowman, a first-time candidate for Congress and a progressive, rode a large wave of multiracial assist to defeat his opponent, 16-term incumbent Eliot Engel (a very regretful white man), to develop into the Democrats’ choose to symbolize New York’s 16th District. And he did all of it in true fashion and slight flex. Bowman’s received that Baldwin-like fireplace inside him, and he chops it up with us to interrupt down energy, the pandemic and Ghostface Killah’s traditional album “Solely Constructed four Cuban Linx.” Test it!
