Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, & Lana Del Rey Staff Up on ‘Don’t Name Me Angel’

Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey be part of forces on their highly-anticipated collaboration “Don’t Name Me Angel” from the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska. With the assistance of producer Max Martin, the powerhouse trio delivers a fierce and empowering anthem for 2019.

“Boy, don’t name me angel, you ain’t received me proper,” sings Ari, whereas Miley provides, “I don’t like that, boy. Maintain your fairly mouth shut.”

Together with the track, they’ve additionally dropped the angelic video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis.

“Don’t Name Me Angel” follows within the footsteps of Future’s Baby’s “Unbiased Ladies” theme track from 2000’s Charlie’s Angels movie starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu.

“In fact we have been impressed by ‘Unbiased Ladies’ and Future’s Baby with the final set of flicks,” director Elizabeth Banks instructed PEOPLE. “I really feel actually grateful that this unimaginable group of artists took inspiration from these movies as nicely and felt like working collectively as girls, and [it] thematically matched up with the precise film that we have been making.”

The film hits theaters Nov. 15.
