Black Thought of The Roots Rocks NPR Tiny Desk Home Concert

Usually, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts are simply that: an artist performing a collection of songs within the media platform’s Washington, DC workplace. However with nearly all the planet staying at dwelling, NPR is now bringing the present from their proverbial lounge to our literal ones.

Black Thought of The Roots took to his dwelling workplace for this version of NPR’s Tiny Desk House Live performance collection, and he took the event to premiere three new songs: “Thought Vs. All people,” “Yellow” (a track from his upcoming off-Broadway musical Black No Extra), and “Nature of the Beast” (a collaboration with Portugal. The Man. Because it seems, “Thought Vs. All people,” and “Yellow” are produced by Sean C (Jay-Z’s American Gangster, Ghostface Killah, Curren$y) and can seem on Thought’s upcoming Streams of Thought Vol. 3 EP.
