Bloomberg Reporter Says She Quit Job & Left Husband For Martin Shkreli

Bloomberg Information reporter Christie Smythe says she fell in love with the notorious “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli and left her husband and stop her job to be with him. Smyth revealed her story in a brand new interview with Elle.

“I fell down the rabbit gap,” Smythe advised Elle. “I’m blissful right here. I really feel like I’ve function.”
Smythe met Shkreli in 2015 when she started overlaying his trial for Bloomberg. It wasn’t till 2018 when she stop her job to completely decide to Shkreli.
“He advised me he liked me, too,” she advised Elle, relating to the second she first confessed her love whereas he was behind bars. “It’s laborious to consider a time once I felt happier.”
Shkreli, who infamously bought a uncommon Wu-Tang album, was sentenced to seven years in federal jail and as much as $7.four million in fines in 2017 on fees of securities fraud.
Smyth says she has frozen her eggs and plans to attend for Shkreli’s launch.
“I’m gonna strive,” she says. “I’ll be right here.”
