Brett Favre Calls Colin Kaepernick A “Hero,” Compares Him To Pat Tillman

Legendary NFL quarterback Brett Favre says Colin Kaepernick shall be remembered as a hero.

Following the Sept. 11 assaults, Tillman retired from the NFL at age 25 to enlist in the US Military. He died on April 22, 2004, in Afghanistan.

Kaepernick first kneeled through the nationwide anthem in 2016. He has not performed within the NFL within the years since.

Roger Goodell lately admitted he was mistaken to disagree with Kaepernick’s protest and acknowledged he hopes {that a} staff indicators him. “Properly, hear, if he needs to renew his profession within the NFL, then clearly it will take a staff to make that call,” Goodell instructed ESPN. “However I welcome that, assist a membership making that call, and encourage them to try this.”
