Dallas Cowboys Defensive End Marshawn Kneeland Dies at 24

The NFL community is mourning the sudden passing of Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who has died at the age of 24.

“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” the team said in a statement. “Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”

No details have been released about the cause of death.

Kneeland’s passing comes just two days after he scored his first career touchdown — a milestone that now stands as his final on-field moment.

The NFL also issued a statement, saying,

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of Cowboys’ Marshawn Kneeland. Our thoughts and prayers are with his girlfriend Catalina, family, friends, and teammates.”

His agent, Perzley, shared a deeply emotional tribute following the heartbreaking news.

“I am shattered to confirm that my client and dearest friend Marshawn Kneeland passed away last night,” the statement read. “Marshawn poured his heart into every snap, every practice, and every moment on the field. To lose someone with his talent, spirit, and goodness is a pain I can hardly put into words. My heart aches for his family, his teammates, and everyone who loved him. I ask that you please give his loved ones the privacy and compassion they need to grieve this tremendous loss.”
