Death Row’s ‘Above The Rim’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Released To Streaming Platforms

Again throughout its reign on the charts (and, subsequently, Suge Knight’s reign of terror within the music trade), Demise Row Information launched one of many (unquestionably) greatest film soundtracks of all time for the 1994 movie Above The Rim. The soundtrack was dwelling to many well-liked songs, most notably SWV’s “Something” and Warren G and Nate Dogg’s “Regulate.”

Demise Row — which in the intervening time, pending a sale to The Blackstone Group, is owned by the toy, board sport, and media firm Hasbro — is celebrating the soundtrack by releasing a deluxe version of the album. Together with remastered variations of the unique 18 songs, three songs make their DSP debut together with 2Pac’s “Pain” with Stretch.
