In a powerful display of family unity, six of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children addressed Judge Arun Subramanian in federal court on Friday during the music mogul’s sentencing hearing. Fighting back tears, each shared heartfelt words about their father, the man they know beyond the headlines and trial.
Quincy, who opened the remarks, described Diddy as “a changed man.” He told the court,
“We are going to love him through his struggles… but in front of you is a changed man. Our father will never do anything to jeopardize his freedom.” His brother Justin echoed that sentiment, pleading for mercy: “I ask that you give my father a second chance, a second chance at life, a second chance to right his wrongs.”

Jessie Combs, one of Diddy’s twin daughters, admitted through tears that her father wasn’t perfect but insisted he was still the anchor in their lives: “We know he isn’t perfect and he has made many mistakes… but he is still our dad, and we still need him present in our lives.”
Her sister D’Lila grew emotional as she recalled losing their mother, Kim Porter.
“We are scared of the thought of not having our dad and our mom present in our lives. We are scared for our 2-year-old little sister that runs to us every night asking where daddy is. We cannot watch our baby sister grow up fatherless the same way we had to grow up motherless.”
Chance, Diddy’s eldest daughter, also broke down, simply saying:
“We are just daughters who need our father.”
Christian, the last to speak, painted a picture of Diddy as his role model.
“My whole life he’s always taught me to treat women with respect. I’ve seen him treat my mom with respect and treat her like a queen. To me, he’s always been my hero.”
The children’s emotional statements marked one of the most poignant moments of Combs’ high-profile legal battle, as they pleaded for compassion from the court while standing firmly by their father’s side.
