Eminem’s Music Is “As Hard Hitting As Any Metal Song,” Rock Hall CEO Says

Rock Corridor CEO Greg Harris says that Eminem‘s music “is as hard-hitting and straight forward as any metallic tune.” The legendary rapper was introduced a member of the Rock and Roll Corridor of Fame class of 2022 inductees, earlier this week.

“For lots of years folks requested about hip hop. He’s the 10th artist to be kind of categorized that approach. However you hearken to his music, it’s as hard-hitting and straight forward as any metallic tune,” Harris declared throughout an interview with Audacy. “It is proper there. It is a chest punch with a message and with an influence and with a rhythm and with a band. We’re thrilled he is getting in [his] first 12 months of eligibility, it is a large assertion.”

Eminem is the single best-selling artist of the 2000s, he is received 15 Grammy Awards, and he is the primary artist to have ten consecutive albums debut on the high of the Billboard 200 chart.

The Rock Corridor’s web site credit his profession as having “solidified hip-hop as probably the most commercially profitable music on the planet.”

Different members of the category embrace Dolly Parton, Eurythmics, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, Carly Simon, and Lionel Richie.
