Our Caribbean Diaspora community has expanded throughout the commonwealth of Massachusetts and to showcase who we are, where we from and our achievers.
We take this opportunity to invite you to participate in the annual staging of “CARIBBEAN AMERICAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL” (Caribbean Diaspora Awareness Day) to be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 Reggie Lewis Center, 1350 Tremont Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The theme for the 2018 Festival is “Caribbean Diaspora Awareness Day”, highlighting our community, showcasing our local arts.
With the support of your business and you, the growth of this festival will continue to play a critical role in support of the proclamation of June being the National Caribbean American Heritage Month.
The National and local Caribbean American Heritage proclamations, acknowledge the heritage and contributions of Caribbean immigrants in celebration of National Caribbean Heritage Month and to broaden the cultural diversity in the state of Massachusetts.
The dynamism and diversity of Caribbean Americans have contributed to our Nation’s story in extraordinary ways. Millions of people in the United States are connected to our Caribbean neighbors through ties of commerce and family a relationship reinforced by the values and history we hold in common. During National Caribbean-American Heritage Month, we celebrate the contributions of our Caribbean-American brothers and sisters, and we reflect on how they have bolstered our country and enriched our traditions.
