“We did not put the disclaimer in there which mainly units up the problems that this film actually brings up,” WarnerMedia chairman Bob Greenblatt defined to Jess Cagle for an interview on Sirius XM: “We took it off and we will convey it again with the right context. It is what we should always have carried out. I don’t remorse taking it down for a second. I solely want we had put it up within the first place with the disclaimer. And, , we simply didn’t try this.”

Saturday, Stewart defined her plans for the introduction, on CNN: “For me, this is a chance to consider what basic movies can educate us,” she wrote. “Proper now, persons are turning to motion pictures for racial re-education, and the top-selling books on Amazon are about anti-racism and racial inequality. If persons are actually doing their homework, we could also be poised to have our most knowledgeable, sincere, and productive nationwide conversations but about Black lives on display screen and off.”

A return date has but to be introduced by HBO Max.
