Hiatus Kaiyote Drop “Chivalry Is Not Dead” Single

It’s straightforward to say that the brand new album from Hiatus Kaiyote is that this author’s most anticipated undertaking of the month.

Their first album since 2015’s Choose Your Weapon, the band’s Mood Valiant will arrive on June 25. Following their singles “Get Sun” and “Red Room,” they provide up their newest — which, coincidentally, has been a tune the group has performed on tours for years — “Chivalry Is Not Useless.”

“After we did Select Your Weapon, we needed to make radio edits of our songs, and all of our shit is like 6 or 7 minutes lengthy! So ‘Chivalry’ was me f**king with the ‘hit document’ method,” Nai Palm says. “I’m gonna write a tune that’s 3:40 lengthy, and it’s about intercourse, however I’m gonna make it f**king bizarre. Examples from the pure world which are f**king with the established order.”
