Jennifer Hudson Would Love To Reprise Her 'Sex And The City' Role In The Revival

Jennifer Hudson thinks “Intercourse and the Metropolis” followers are able to reunite with Louise from St. Louis.
The singer and actor advised Leisure Tonight on Thursday that she was “down” to reprise her position from the primary “Intercourse and the Metropolis” movie for the upcoming revival of the franchise’s beloved HBO collection. The brand new collection shall be titled “And Simply Like That.”
Hudson portrayed Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) private assistant within the 2008 movie. Within the film, Hudson’s character memorably launched herself to Carrie as “Louise from St. Louis.”
When requested concerning the revival on ET, the Oscar winner mentioned she hopes to play Louise once more.
“That might be cool. … I’m down,” she mentioned. Hudson later advised that she had not but been requested to reprise her position as Louise.

Information of the “Intercourse and the Metropolis” revival has been bittersweet for a lot of followers. Kim Cattrall, who famously performed Samantha Jones, received’t be reprising her position.
Cynthia Nixon, who performed Miranda, and Kristin Davis, who performed Charlotte, will be part of Parker within the new collection.
Parker, Nixon and Davis every shared teasers for “And Simply Like That” on their Instagram accounts on Monday.
In the meantime, Hudson has been maintaining busy with initiatives for the massive display.
The singer performed the late Aretha Franklin within the upcoming biopic “Respect.” The film is ready to hit theaters in August, after its launch was delayed as theaters closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
