Lil Nas X Releases Long-Awaited Debut Album, ‘Montero’

The time has lastly arrived.
After blowing the doorways off the trade with the discharge of his “nation” single “Previous City Street” in December of 2018, Lil Nas X spent the following two and a half years trolling his method to the highest by way of varied (and downright, masterful) advertising and marketing schemes. And now, the Georgia-born artist has lastly launched his long-awaited debut album, Montero.
“I really feel like with this album, I do know what I needed,” he instructed Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I do know what I would like. I do know the place I wish to be in life. And I do know that’s going to take me being extra open and bringing it out of myself regardless of how a lot it hurts or feels uncomfortable to say issues that I must say.”
A 15-track affair, the follow-up to 2019’s 7 EP comes geared up with options from Elton John, Doja Cat, Jack Harlow (“Trade Child”), Megan Thee Stallion, and Miley Cyrus.
