Lizzo Sued for Defamation by Postmates Driver

Lizzo is dealing with authorized motion from a Postmates driver.
Within the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Tiffany Wells says that the “Reality Hurts” hitmaker turned her life the other way up when she blasted her on Twitter and claimed she stole her meals whereas delivering an order to Lizzo’s Boston lodge in September.
“Hey @Postmates this woman Tiffany W. stole my meals she fortunate I don’t battle no extra,” Lizzo tweeted to her near-million followers on Sept. 15 together with a photograph of Wells.
Wells reportedly tried to contact Lizzo and even went to the lodge concierge to no avail. After ready 10 minutes, she lastly left.
Lizzo deleted the unique tweet and later apologized to Wells. “I apologize for placing that woman on blast,” she wrote. “I perceive I’ve a big following and that there have been so many variables that would’ve put her in peril. Imma actually be extra accountable with my use of social media and verify my petty and my satisfaction on the door.”

Wells is now suing Lizzo for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional misery. She says she was afraid to depart her house and go to work after the incident. Because of this, she not works for Postmates and claims she was topic to ridicule, humiliation, and stress.
Wells says Postmates sided together with her, and he or she moved on to the subsequent supply like she was purported to after she couldn’t attain Lizzo.
