Madlib & Four Tet – “Dirtknock”

New Madlib this week? THat is one thing we’re right here for.

This Friday (Jan. 29), the producer will launch his new challenge, Sound Ancestors, which will likely be edited, organized, and mastered by Kieren Hebden (also called 4 Tet). “A couple of months in the past I accomplished work on an album with my buddy Madlib that we’d been making for the previous couple of years,” 4 Tet stated in a statement. “…I put this idea to him after we had been hanging out consuming some good meals sooner or later and we determined to work on this along with him sending me tracks, loops, concepts and experiments that I’d organize, edit, manipulate and mix. I used to be despatched tons of of items of music over a few years stretch and through that point I put collectively this album with all of the components that fitted with my imaginative and prescient.”

Following “Hopprock” and “Road Of The Lonely Ones,” the pair have dropped off “Dirtknock.” That may be heard under.
