“With ‘All of the Sensible Issues,’ the concept was to really try to deal with the realities of gentrification and this new period of cultural appropriation, generally referred to as ‘tradition vulturing.’ The way in which they intertwine with each other, parallel at instances, and the way us because the residents of our lengthy standing properties and creators of those cultures have been stripped of it, or at instances let it occur, and even in some circumstances sadly helped it occur, all for what we assumed was our greatest curiosity.

“The irony of all of it is, regardless of the way it all makes us really feel in hindsight, one must admit that the orchestration of it was really good. Brutal, and heinous, however in some way fairly good. Therefore the title of the album.”

“Intrigued by the title, I copped it and afterwards I used to be impressed to jot down form of a name and response, talking on the opposite aspect of the fence from what Brian noticed being white and residing within the Stuy along with his household,” Sky says. “As somebody who was within the neighborhood earlier than the characters in his story moved in, I wrote the music to be the opposite finish of the spectrum.”
