“SNL” Airs Chadwick Boseman's Episode, Honoring “Black Panther” Star

Saturday Evening Stay honored the late Chadwick Boseman, Saturday evening, by airing the episode wherein the Black Panther star served as host.

The SNL episode initially aired in on April 7, 2018, only a few months after Black Panther hit theaters on February 16, 2018. One of the viral skits from the episode places Boseman in his T’Challa character for an episode of Black Jeopardy!. The sketch has over 24 million views on YouTube.
Boseman’s household introduced that the prolific actor handed away on August 28, after a four-year-long battle with most cancers.
“A real fighter, Chadwick persevered by all of it, and introduced you lots of the movies you will have come to like a lot. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Backside, and several other extra, all have been filmed throughout and between numerous surgical procedures and chemotherapy.
“It was the glory of his profession to carry King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”
Boseman stored his sickness separate from his public life, a call that his agent, Michael Greene, says he made due to his mom: “[She] at all times taught him to not have folks fuss over him,” Greene informed The Hollywood Reporter, relating to Boseman’s mom, Carolyn. “He additionally felt on this enterprise that individuals journey out about issues, and he was a really, very personal individual.”
