‘SNL’ Skit About Vaccine Faces Black Twitter Backlash

Saturday Night time Dwell is going through outrage by some Black of us on Twitter for its skit a couple of Black physician making an attempt to persuade his relations to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Some are saying the bit promotes inaccurate and dangerous stereotypes about Black individuals, whereas ignoring systemic racism in vaccine distribution.

The episode, which aired on April 3, was Daniel Kaluuya’s debut on the long-running, late night time comedy present. Within the skit, he portrayed Dr. Tevin Jones, the host of a recreation present known as “Will You Take It?”
