Rosalind Brewer is Starbuck’s new President and Chief Operating Officer, making her the first woman and first African American to be appointed to the position. Brewer will head up the company’s North Americas business, as well as the global supply chain functions, production innovation, and store development organizations.

Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson described Brewer, in a press release, refereed to Brewer as “a world class operator and executive who embodies the values of Starbucks. She reflects the strength and diversity of the organization.”
