Trump Jokes His Supporters Were 'Protecting' Biden's Bus On Highway

President Donald Trump on Sunday mockingly claimed that his supporters have been “defending” a marketing campaign bus belonging to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden when a caravan of autos dangerously surrounded it on a Texas freeway, resulting in a vehicular collision.
“They have been defending their bus yesterday as a result of they’re good,” Trump mentioned at a rally in Michigan to cheers, laughter and applause.
Video that captured the scenario in Hays County on Friday confirmed the tour bus being surrounded by autos with Trump flags.
The individual recording it jokes that they’re attempting to run Biden out of Texas. Because the digital camera pans to the encircling drivers, two autos straight behind the bus ram into each other. One of many autos was reportedly being pushed by a volunteer with Biden’s marketing campaign.
A Biden marketing campaign official, talking with CNN, mentioned the drivers reduce off the bus and compelled it to drop its pace to 25 mph. Staffers on the bus reportedly referred to as 911 amid the chaos.
