Tyler, The Creator Trolls DJ Khaled After Earning No. 1 On Billboard Charts

In response to his new album, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, incomes the primary spot on the Billboard 200 chart, Tyler, The Creator trolled DJ Khaled on Twitter. A beef between the 2 rappers relating to album gross sales harkens again to 2019 when Tyler outsold Khaled together with his mission, IGOR.

“MYSTERIOUS MUSIC! HA!,” he tweeted, Sunday, referencing the time Khaled described his personal mission, Father of Asahd, as “good music” not “mysterious shit.”

Khaled’s anger stemmed from a heated disagreement he reportedly had with billboard relating to merch bundles and the way they issue into album gross sales. Bundling a digital copy of an album with the acquisition of merch has been a typical tactic to extend an artist’s gross sales figures.

Reviews from the time claimed that over 100,000 of Khaled’s album downloads had been “disqualified” by a rule change that affected merch bundles.

Tyler later spoke concerning the incident in an interview with Apple Music in July 2019.

“Once I put [IGOR] out and it [land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart], and once more, I don’t make shit to be first week or be radio or no matter, however for this murals and that album cowl and these movies and me doing this go well with wig factor and having these progressions and this distorted this and that, and these melodies and these items like that, beat… and that is no disrespect to Khaled or anybody, however this n-gga had each particular person within the trade, everybody on that fucking album. Everybody. Everybody. Cardi B. 21 Savage. Travis Scott. Submit Malone. Beyoncé. Jay. Everybody who sells billions of data and the truth that I beat him with this that isn’t parallel to all of the popping music proper now was fucking loopy, bro.”
