Willow Smith Brings Back Jada’s Metal Band Past For Mother’s Day

Willow Smith shocked Jada Pinkett Smith for Mom’s Day by paying homage to her mother’s former metallic band, Depraved Knowledge.
Throughout Wednesday’s episode of their Fb Watch sequence, “Purple Desk Speak” — which they host with Pinkett Smith’s mom, Adrienne Banfield Norris — Smith shocked the actor with a efficiency that includes members of her former band.
“Once I was … about three or 4, I went on tour with my mother and her band, Depraved Knowledge,” Smith says in a recording that performed through the episode. “Depraved Knowledge was lit. That is the music that I grew up round, my mom was a superwoman, she was a rock star, she was a warrior and a nurturer all-in-one.”

Smith went on to carry out Depraved Knowledge’s tune, “Bleed All Over Me,” with Pinkett Smith’s former band members, Pocket Honore and Taylor Graves, as Pinkett Smith and Banfield Norris danced alongside.
