21 Savage Teams Up With Bob Marley Foundation For Jamaica Hurricane Melissa Relief

Written by on 11/17/2025

On Friday (Nov. 14), the Bob & Rita Marley Foundation, together with Cedella Marley and Ro Marley, announced a new partnership with 21 Savage and his Leading by Example Foundation to support Jamaicans recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.

As part of the launch, Savage and his foundation matched every donation made in the first 48 hours. All contributions are tax-deductible, with 100% of proceeds going directly to on-the-ground relief efforts.

“There’s no better way to help our Jamaican family in their time of need,” the organizations said in a joint statement. “Jamaica needs us for the long haul.”

The Marley–Savage collaboration adds star power to a growing list of artists mobilizing for the island. Just last week, Shaggy, Sean Paul, and other Caribbean heavyweights announced the Jamaica Strong Benefit Concert, set for December 12 at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York. The lineup includes KES, T.O.K., Inner Circle, and more, with proceeds supporting Jamaica’s official Hurricane Relief & Recovery Fund.

Money raised will benefit several key relief partners, including Shaggy’s “Make A Difference Foundation,” Food For The Poor Jamaica, The Irie Jam Radio Foundation, and the Consulate General of Jamaica in New York.

Tickets for the December concert are available now.
