50 Cent used his latest national TV moment to turn up the heat on Diddy—again—while promoting his new Netflix docuseries, Sean Combs: The Reckoning.

Written by on 12/01/2025

Appearing on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts, 50 reignited his decades-long rivalry with Combs and previewed what he calls the most revealing look yet at the Bad Boy mogul’s rise, fall and federal downfall.

The four-part Netflix series—executive produced by 50 Cent and directed by Alexandria Stapleton—drops December 2. It traces Diddy’s meteoric ascent, his infamous lifestyle, and the federal case that ended with a 50-month prison sentence following his 2024 arrest and 2025 conviction.

And 50 Cent made it clear: this series is not going easy on anyone.

In one clip aired during the interview, Diddy can be seen berating his legal team inside a hotel room.

“I’m gonna get off the phone right now and let you professionals look at the situation and come back to me with a solution. Y’all are not working together the right way. We’re losing,”
Diddy snaps.

Another exclusive moment shows Diddy griping about interacting with fans in Harlem.

“I need some hand sanitizer. I’ve been on the streets, amongst the people. I gotta take a bath. The amount of people I’m coming in contact with…”
he says.

50 Cent didn’t hold back.

“That shows you his character. That’s one of those moments where he forgot he was on camera,”
he said.

When asked how Diddy might react once the series hits Netflix, 50 shrugged it off:

“It’s not personal.”

But the tension between these two has stretched back more than 20 years. It started in 1999 with 50’s breakout track “How to Rob,” where he famously joked:

“I’ll snatch Kim and tell Puff, You want to see her again? Dance your ass down to the nearest ATM.”

Things escalated again in 2018 when 50 publicly questioned Diddy’s behavior during an interview on The Breakfast Club. He resurfaced that dynamic on GMA, saying he always found Diddy’s approach unsettling.

“It’s me being uncomfortable with him suggesting that he takes me shopping… I looked at it like a tester.”

The feud turned more personal during Diddy’s 2025 trial, when a woman referred to in court as “Jane”—widely believed to be Daphne Joy, 50’s former partner—became part of the testimony.

Now, with Combs locked up at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, 50 Cent says he’s speaking loudly because the culture needs it.

“If I didn’t say anything, you’d interpret it as Hip-Hop being fine with his behaviors. There’s no one else being vocal.”
