Sean “Diddy” Combs has been photographed publicly for the first time since beginning his prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
The Bad Boy Records founder was seen bundled up in an orange beanie and navy puffer jacket during outdoor recreation time at the low-security federal facility, where temperatures hovered in the 50s. The image, obtained by TMZ, marks Diddy’s first public sighting since his September 2024 arrest. His graying beard was clearly visible as he walked the prison yard.

Combs, 55, is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of interstate prostitution under the Mann Act. In addition to his prison term, he faces five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine.
Sources confirm that Combs has been assigned his first job in the prison’s laundry department. FCI Fort Dix, which houses over 4,100 inmates, offers various work and rehabilitation programs.
Former inmate Joe Giudice told TMZ that Diddy’s wealth will likely make his time behind bars “a lot easier” than most inmates’.
Prosecutors had originally sought a harsher 135-month sentence, citing the severity of the charges, but the judge opted for a reduced term.
Once a symbol of Hip-Hop’s glamour and entrepreneurial ambition, Combs’ imprisonment represents a stunning downfall for one of the most powerful figures in music history.
Founded in 1993, Bad Boy Records shaped the sound of an era—launching icons like The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, and Mase. Now, its founder’s empire sits in stark contrast to his life inside a federal penitentiary.
