Blueface Speaks Out After Prison Release: “Still That N**a Two Years Later”**

Written by on 11/03/2025

After more than a year behind bars, Blueface is officially a free man — and he wasted no time reconnecting with fans.

On Monday, November 3, the Los Angeles rapper went live on Instagram to celebrate his release, giving followers a tour of his home and urging them to follow his page before he makes it private. In another post, Blue declared, “Still that n**a two years later,”* signaling that his confidence hasn’t wavered since his incarceration.

He also shared emotional moments with his two children, captured in videos posted by his father, showing Blue embracing his kids and mother for the first time in nearly two years.

Blueface, born Johnathan Porter, had been sentenced to four years in prison after violating probation from a 2021 assault case involving a Las Vegas strip club bouncer. Originally granted a suspended sentence, his probation was revoked after authorities found him with drug paraphernalia. The judge credited him for time served, reducing his sentence after eight months behind bars.

In the weeks leading up to his release, Blueface’s parents hinted at his homecoming. His mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, told TMZ he was nearing freedom and teased a homecoming celebration. His father followed up with a cryptic Instagram post reading:

“Today is the end of a chapter in my family’s life. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new chapter. Can’t wait.”
