Boston Celtics Jaylen Brown Shows Off Smooth Salsa Moves with Victoria Monét — Then Drops 50 the Next Night

Written by on 01/05/2026

Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown has never been just a bucket. Off the court, he’s become just as entertaining—streaming, engaging with fans, and showing more of who he is beyond the hardwood. His latest adventure? Salsa dancing lessons with Grammy-winning R&B powerhouse Victoria Monét.

In the viral clip, Brown confidently steps onto the dance floor as Monét takes his hand, and the two move seamlessly through the routine. What starts as a lighthearted moment quickly turns impressive as Brown keeps rhythm, hits his turns, and surprises Monét with how naturally he handled the choreography.

When Brown pulled off a smooth spin, Monét couldn’t help but react.

“Oh!” she exclaimed mid-dance, clearly impressed. When the music stopped, Brown celebrated like he just hit a game-winner: “Come on! I’m done.”

Fans quickly jumped in online, loving the unexpected collaboration.

“Not who I expected but I love all of this,” one person commented.

Another added, “Dancing With the Stars would definitely be a good look for Jaylen. Victoria is stunning.” Others simply said what everyone was thinking: they looked great together on that dance floor.

Monét later shared her own thoughts on Instagram, calling the experience “so fun” and thanking Brown and their instructor for the moment.

And if you believe in good vibes translating to good play, the timing speaks for itself. Shortly after the salsa session, Brown exploded for 50 points—tying his career high—in the Celtics’ 146–115 blowout win over the Los Angeles Clippers. He even hinted that maybe, just maybe, the salsa magic carried over to the court.
