Cardi B is pressing pause on the video for her BIA diss track “Pretty & Petty” — but not because she’s backing down. On a recent livestream, Cardi told fans she’s holding off out of respect… or at least, to avoid looking like a bully while BIA’s still catching her breath from dropping her new project, Bianca, on Friday, October 10.
“I know how stressful it is to put an album out,” Cardi said. “And I know how f*ed up you be in the mind when you put an album out… So if I do a video to ‘Pretty & Petty as Fk’ today, I feel like I would be bullying. I don’t wanna feel like a bully. Because when I bully, then God takes from me.”

Cardi made it clear she’s choosing peace — for now.
“If the b*h ain’t messing with me and she didn’t sub me in her fking dusty a** album, I’m not gonna do a video… on a day that I know she’s stressed,” she said. “God will punish me… I’mma be nice to you because it’s your album day. I don’t wanna add to your stress. I’m not that bad person that people think I am.”
This comes just days after Cardi clapped back at BIA following her Hot 97 interview, where BIA claimed their tension started when fans compared her Really Her project to Cardi’s “Enough (Miami).” Cardi’s response? Brutal.
“You’re not interesting enough for me to look at you,” she said on X Spaces. “You’re not creative, your music is boring, everything about you is boring.”
So for now, Cardi’s keeping the video in the vault — but the energy? Still very much on go.
