Cardi B Snatches a Guinness World Record & Goes Platinum in the Same Weekend

Cardi B is in full takeover mode with her new album Am I The Drama? — and she’s already making history.
Just hours after its release, Cardi revealed she now holds a Guinness World Record for the most albums delivered by drone in one hour. Thanks to a wild collab between Walmart, Wing Drone Delivery, and Atlantic Records, 176 copies of the album touched down at fans’ homes in just 60 minutes. Kylie Galloway of Guinness confirmed the record to TMZ, marking Cardi’s first-ever entry in the history books.

But that’s not all — Am I The Drama? went platinum within hours of dropping. The 23-track project features her mega-hits “WAP” and “Up,” which were already 9x and 5x platinum before the album even dropped. Cardi clapped back at critics who questioned her decision to include them:

“WAP and Up are two of my biggest songs… they deserve a home,” she wrote on X. “I let haters make me not submit WAP for the Grammy’s and at this point I’m giving my fans what they want!”
Even though “WAP” and “Up” won’t count toward first-week sales, projections already have Am I The Drama? debuting No. 1 with 125K–150K units sold.
From breaking records to breaking the charts, one thing is clear: Cardi B really is the drama.
