Diddy Ordered to Enter Treatment Programs After Prison Release

Sean “Diddy” Combs will face strict post-release conditions once he finishes serving his 50-month prison sentence.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday (Oct. 15), the 55-year-old music mogul will be required to enter several treatment programs following his release.
Mandatory Mental Health & Substance Abuse Programs
Diddy must participate in outpatient treatment programs for both mental health and substance abuse — a continuation of the care he’ll receive while incarcerated. He’ll also be required to take prescribed medication unless advised otherwise by his physician.
Additionally, the court has ordered him to complete an approved domestic violence program designed to prevent repeat offenses. His history of violence, including allegations from ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and another woman identified as “Jane,” was a central issue during his high-profile trial this summer.
Additional Restrictions
Beyond treatment, Diddy must adhere to standard federal post-release conditions:
-
Submit to searches at any time.
-
Have no contact with victims.
-
Refrain from owning or possessing firearms.
Prison Time and Facility Request
Earlier this month, Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison. Since he has already served over a year, that time will count toward his sentence.
His legal team requested that he serve the remainder at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. However, Judge Arun Subramanian recommended placement at a New York facility. The Bureau of Prisons has not yet made a final decision on where he’ll serve his time.
Combs’ case has remained a lightning rod of public attention, with his legal battles and personal conduct under intense scrutiny. His mandated treatment and restrictions underscore the severity of the court’s judgment.
