Ice Spice & Latto End Their Feud With New Collab “Gyatt”

It looks like the icy tension between Ice Spice and Latto has officially melted away. The two rap stars just dropped a new joint track called “Gyatt,” a bold anthem where both women flex their confidence, flaunt their looks, and remind the rap game they’re not to be played with.

Latto sets the tone with her unapologetic bars:
“My man be gassin’ me, he puttin’ a battery in my back / I st on hoes for sure, but I ain’t into the scat / I turn around and thick st has entered the chat, okay / Same dk, different night, bches can’t relate.”

The record marks a major shift for the two MCs, who were rumored to be at odds for the past couple of years. According to Complex, the friction largely came from their affiliations with rap’s biggest stars — Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

• Ice Spice found herself closely aligned with Nicki, collaborating on multiple records and even being dubbed the “princess of rap” by the Queen herself.

• Latto, on the other hand, linked up with Cardi for the smash hit “Put It on Da Floor (Remix).”

From there, fans speculated the subliminals started flying. Latto’s collab with Offset, “Fine As Can Be,” sparked chatter about possible jabs at Ice Spice. Spice later dropped “Think U Da Sh*t,” with bars that had listeners thinking she was firing back.

But with “Gyatt,” it looks like both rappers are putting the past behind them — and cashing in on the power of collaboration instead of competition.
