Jury Reaches Verdict In Metro Boomin’s Sexual Assault Civil Lawsuit

Metro Boomin has officially been cleared of all allegations in a civil lawsuit filed by Vanessa LeMaistre, who accused the hitmaking producer of exploiting her during a 2016 encounter. A Los Angeles court dismissed the case this week, bringing an end to a high-profile legal battle that had drawn attention across the music industry.
LeMaistre’s attorneys argued that her use of Xanax and alcohol at Metro’s studio left her vulnerable, but Metro denied any wrongdoing, insisting the interaction was consensual. After reviewing the evidence, the court ruled in Metro’s favor on all counts.
Young Thug made a surprise appearance at the courthouse Wednesday to support his longtime friend and collaborator.
“I’m just here to support him. He’s a longtime friend,”
Thug told Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon, underscoring the tight-knit bonds within the hip-hop community.
The case turned tense on its first day when LeMaistre’s attorneys requested a mistrial, claiming Metro’s defense team improperly referenced an alleged prior encounter between the two—something she denied. The court ultimately rejected the mistrial request, and the case moved forward before being dismissed.
Young Thug’s Album on the Way
Meanwhile, Thug is gearing up to drop his highly anticipated album UY Scuti on Friday, September 26. The project is his first since his release following the YSL RICO case, and rumors of a collaboration with YFN Lucci have fans buzzing.
While pushing forward musically, Thug still faces legal battles of his own. Georgia prosecutors are currently appealing a ruling that allowed him to reclaim millions in seized assets, including luxury cars, jewelry, and cash.
