Mario’s Onstage Outburst at Fresno Fair Sparks Fan Backlash

Written by on 10/14/2025

R&B singer Mario is catching heat after halting his performance at The Big Fresno Fair and cussing out a cameraman in the middle of his set.

While performing his 2007 hit “Crying Out For Me,” the singer abruptly turned toward a camera operator on stage and shouted, “Ay, you gotta get the f*** off the stage.”

The moment, captured on video, quickly went viral across social media.

The cameraman, later identified as Ryan Hudgins, appeared startled and began to step back, but Mario repeated the command more aggressively before Hudgins finally exited the stage.

Fans online slammed Mario’s delivery and timing, pointing out the modest crowd size at the outdoor event.

One viewer wrote, “Acting this high and mighty while performing at a shopping center parking lot is wild.”

Another added, “bro only had 30 people watching him… well 29 now.”

Hudgins later posted a recap of the night on Instagram, writing, “How the night ended in comparison to how it began.” He thanked the promoter and praised all the artists’ crews, even noting, “Even @marioworldwide team and security were respectful.”

His calm response suggests the tension was strictly between him and Mario—not the entire team.

Mario has not yet addressed the incident publicly, but the clip has already stirred debate online about how artists treat crew members during live shows.

For some, it’s just another viral moment. For others, it’s a bad look for an artist who built his name on smooth vocals and polished performances.
