For Jones, the role is familiar territory. He previously voiced Tombstone in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the upcoming Beyond the Spider-Verse. Now, heāll bring the crime boss to life in live action for the very first time.
Tombstone, aka Lonnie Lincoln, debuted in Marvel Comics back in 1988. The albino mobster is known for his nearly indestructible skin, razor-sharp teeth, and longtime rivalry with Spider-Man. His presence in Brand New Day hints at darker challenges ahead for Hollandās Peter Parker.
The movieās cast is already stacked: Zendaya returns as MJ, Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk, and newcomers Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas have signed on in mystery roles. Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton is at the helm, with Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal producing.
