New Edition, Boyz II Men & Toni Braxton Announce “The New Edition Way Tour” for 2026

Boston’s own New Edition is set to hit the road with R&B icons Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton for what’s already shaping up to be one of 2026’s biggest tours. The New Edition Way Tour kicks off January 28, 2026, in Oakland, California, and will hit 30 cities across North America. Tickets go on sale October 31, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time.
A New Era of R&B Collaboration
In the announcement video, New Edition’s Michael Bivins FaceTimes Boyz II Men, suggesting,
“We can take it to another level.” Johnny Gill follows up: “New Edition and Boyz II Men — we’ve never shared the stage together.”
When talk turned to adding “a little feminine energy,” Toni Braxton appeared on screen, smiling: “Y’all already know I’m the honorary seventh member… so it’s only right that we hit the road together.”
Organizers promise something far beyond a traditional concert.
“Here’s the vision: all three of us on the same stage every night — not taking turns, actually performing together,” the groups reveal. “An original music experience.”
The Legacy Continues….
The tour’s name pays tribute to the group’s legacy — a nod to New Edition Way, an actual street in Boston named in their honor. According to promoter Black Promoters Collective, the show “represents collaboration, excellence, and a deep respect for artistry.”
CEO Gary Guidry added, “You’re seeing artists who’ve shaped the culture come together to celebrate timeless music.”
What Fans Can Expect….
The production promises a full 360° stage experience where fans will be surrounded by three decades of R&B history — from “End of the Road” to “Poison” to “Un-Break My Heart.”
Major stops include Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York, and Atlanta, wrapping up April 4 in Houston, Texas.
Presales begin October 27 for American Express cardholders and fan groups, followed by general sales on October 31.
The New Edition Way Tour is more than a concert — it’s a celebration of the golden era of R&B, reborn for a new generation. There are various presales for the 30-city tour. Tickets go on sale to the general public Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
Presales will take place from Oct. 27 through Oct. 30 at 11:59 p.m.
