Nicki Minaj Announces Sixth Studio Album, Dropping March 2026

Written by on 09/24/2025

The Queen is back. Nicki Minaj has officially confirmed that her sixth studio album will drop in March 2026, marking her first major release since Pink Friday 2.

The announcement came Wednesday (Sept. 24), though Nicki kept the details tight. Many fans believe she’s teasing the long-awaited Pink Friday 3, the next chapter in her iconic album series.

Last year, Nicki told her Barbz she was focused on delivering something fresh rather than just extending Pink Friday 2 with another deluxe edition.

“PF3 is about to do PRECISELY wtf BEEN needed to be done. TRUST ME BARBZ. IM SO EXCITED,” she wrote at the time.

Her most recent album, Pink Friday 2, came stacked with 22 tracks including “FTCU,” “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” “Super Freaky Girl,” and “Last Time I Saw You.” The project featured collaborations with Drake, Lil Wayne, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Skillibeng, and more. She later expanded the album with deluxe editions, adding tracks like “Beep Beep” featuring 50 Cent and “Love Me Enough” featuring Monica and Keyshia Cole.

Nicki then hit the road for her blockbuster Pink Friday 2 World Tour, performing 79 shows across the globe alongside Monica, BIA, Tyga, and Skillibeng. The tour grossed over $108.8 million, ending with a star-studded finale in Elmont, New York, featuring Sexyy Red and 50 Cent as surprise guests.

While Nicki briefly hinted at a hiatus after the tour, she quickly shut that down, telling her fans she “ain’t going no mthfkn where.”

Now, with album six officially on the way, the Barbz can start counting down to March.
