New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is facing off-the-field drama as court filings in Los Angeles County reveal he’s been named in a paternity case brought by model and influencer Aileen Lopera, who goes by Lord Gisselle on social media.

According to documents, Lopera filed a petition back in December 2024 to establish parental rights before her child was even born. Diggs, who welcomed the baby’s arrival in April, responded in July — saying he’s not certain about being the father. The judge overseeing the case has since ordered both sides to complete genetic testing, though the results haven’t been made public.
Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, told The U.S. Sun that her client “looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.” Diggs’ legal team declined comment.
A Complicated Offseason
The paternity dispute comes during a major transition in Diggs’ life and career. The three-time Pro Bowler landed in New England this offseason in a headline-making trade — and off the field, he’s also expecting a baby with rap superstar Cardi B, who just announced her pregnancy this week. Diggs shared he’s hoping for a son.
The wide receiver already has one daughter, Nova, who is eight. If paternity is confirmed in Lopera’s case, this would be his third child.
Spotlight on and off the Field
The case could have big personal and financial implications for Diggs, who’s stepping into a high-pressure role in Foxborough with fans expecting him to help turn around the Patriots’ struggling offense. For Lopera, the filing is about securing legal recognition and support.
Until the DNA test results come in, both sides are under court order as the legal process continues.
