Body Found in Singer d4vd’s Car Identified, Investigation Still Ongoing

The tragic discovery of a body inside singer d4vd’s car has taken a new turn.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed on Tuesday (Sept. 16) that they’ve identified the victim, though officials are still working to locate and notify the family. ABC7 Los Angeles reported that the victim is a girl between 14 and 15 years old. Last week, authorities revealed that the body belonged to a 5’1” female with wavy black hair and a tattoo on her right index finger. While her identity is now confirmed, the official cause of death remains pending.
The remains were discovered last week after complaints of a foul odor coming from the front trunk of a Tesla impounded in Hollywood. Police towed the car—registered to d4vd—from a Hollywood Hills neighborhood, where it had been left abandoned for several days. Inside a black bag in the trunk, officers found the dismembered body, dressed in a tube top, black leggings, and jewelry.
What makes the situation even more puzzling is that d4vd’s Tesla was never reported stolen. Sources say the singer had no idea the car was missing or that it had been impounded. He has not made any public statement yet but is reportedly cooperating with investigators as they work to determine who last drove the vehicle before it was towed.
