Cardi B Celebrates On The Field As Patriots Punch Ticket To Super Bowl LX

Written by on 01/26/2026

The New England Patriots are headed back to the Super Bowl after edging the Denver Broncos 10–7 in a hard-fought AFC Championship victory on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High.

As the final seconds expired, one of the most talked-about moments didn’t come from the scoreboard but from the field itself. Cardi B was seen celebrating alongside her partner, Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, in a viral moment that quickly spread across social media and added a pop-culture jolt to New England’s postseason run.

In the video, Cardi can be heard shouting, “We’re going to the Super Bowl,” as players and staff poured onto the field. The Patriots later reposted the clip on Instagram with the caption, “Let Them Know Cardi!” Fans immediately flooded the comments, with one writing, “Cardi over Taylor every day of the week,” a nod to Taylor Swift’s association with the Kansas City Chiefs. Another joked, “Now jump on stage with Bad Bunny,” hinting at a potential halftime crossover.

Cardi has been an increasingly visible presence throughout the Patriots’ playoff run. She publicly celebrated New England’s wins over the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers in recent weeks, often mixing humor with unfiltered enthusiasm. Her appearances have become part of the broader narrative surrounding the team’s march back to the NFL’s biggest stage.

Super Bowl LX will feature a matchup between the Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, renewing a rivalry that last played out on football’s grandest stage more than a decade ago. Seattle advanced after a narrow win over the Los Angeles Rams, while New England leaned on its defense to close out Denver. Their previous Super Bowl meeting ended in a dramatic 28–24 Patriots victory, capped by Malcolm Butler’s iconic late-game interception.

Away from the field, Diggs continues to face legal issues unrelated to the Patriots’ playoff success. He is scheduled to appear in court on felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault charges stemming from allegations made by a former private chef following a dispute over payment. Diggs has denied the accusations, and Cardi B has previously defended him publicly, saying there is no evidence to support the claims.

As the Super Bowl approaches, the Patriots shift their focus to Seattle. At the same time, Diggs prepares for a week that will bring both championship anticipation and personal scrutiny, with Cardi B expected to remain a visible and vocal presence throughout the journey.
