Cardi B Unbothered By Stefon Diggs’ Paternity Suit — ‘That’s Our Baby Daddy Now’

Cardi B is making it clear — no lawsuit, no drama, no babymomma chatter is gonna shake her energy. This week, a paternity suit popped up against her man and soon-to-be baby father, NFL star Stefon Diggs. Model/influencer Aileen Lopera (aka Lord Gisselle) filed the petition to establish parental rights late last year before giving birth to a baby girl in April 2025.
By July, Diggs responded with doubt about being the father, requesting a paternity test. Court docs show both sides signed off on it, but it’s unclear if testing has happened or if results are back.
While the headlines keep flying, Cardi seems completely unfazed. During a playful IG Live, the Bronx superstar was in the kitchen cooking, singing to her fans, and even dropped a mashup of her track “Hello” with Shirley Brown’s legendary “Woman to Woman.”
Quoting the classic line — “Hello Barbara, it’s me, Shirley” — Cardi laughed it off, joking: “If that’s yo babydaddy, then that’s my babydaddy too, girl… Well, what now? I don’t fcking know, we’ll figure it out, bitch.”*

The controversy hasn’t slowed her down one bit. Cardi just dropped her highly anticipated sophomore album Am I The Drama? — and it’s already breaking records. The project went platinum hours after release and even snatched a Guinness World Record for most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour.
On top of that, Cardi confirmed her biggest news yet: she and Diggs are expecting their first child together. In her CBS Mornings sit-down with Gayle King, she opened up about balancing success and motherhood:
“I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi B is already mom to Kulture, Wave, and Blossom with estranged husband Offset. Diggs, meanwhile, has an older daughter, Nova, from a previous relationship.
