“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” cast member Erica Banks is facing fresh legal trouble after being arrested in Georgia on felony drug charges, according to Atlanta News First.
Brookhaven Police say the rapper—legal name Erica Breaux—was riding in a vehicle stopped Monday after an officer noticed a tinted tag obscuring the license plate, which is illegal under Georgia law.
Once pulled over, officers discovered Breaux allegedly in possession of MDMA (ecstasy) and marijuana packaged with intent to distribute—both felony counts.

The driver, 25-year-old Amani Dirton, was also arrested on matching drug charges, a tint violation, and an additional charge for driving a stolen vehicle. Police later confirmed the car’s VIN tied back to a theft out of Atlanta.
Both Banks and Dirton were taken into custody and released shortly after.
This marks Banks’ second arrest this year in the Atlanta metro area. In August, she was detained at an airport while attempting to board a flight to Houston with a stolen firearm, according to police. She was charged with theft by receiving stolen property in that case and briefly jailed before release. At the time, her attorney insisted she had no knowledge the gun was stolen.
Erica Banks—who broke through in 2021 with her viral smash “Buss It” and later joined Season 11 of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”—now faces another legal battle as the cases move forward.
