Jack Schlossberg Calls Out Ryan Murphy For ‘Making Millions’ Off Of JFK Jr. With ‘American Love Story’ Series: ‘Say It To My Face’

Jack Schlossberg is continuing his feud with Ryan Murphy over his new series American Love Story, which in its first season is set to depict the relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.
The late JFK Jr. is Schlossberg’s uncle and has called out Murphy for “profiting off” his uncle’s life “in a grotesque way.” Murphy recently addressed those comments as a guest on Gavin Newsom’s podcast, where he said Schlossberg made an “odd choice to be mad about your relative that you really don’t remember.”
After seeing Murphy’s comments, Schlossberg took to Instagram to quote him and ask the television producer to “SAY IT TO MY FACE.”
“My earliest memories are of John calling me Jackolatern and ‘the nudist,’ picking me up from school, his Pontiac convertible,” Schlossberg posted. “I remember being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died. I remember Wyclef singing at his funeral.”

He continued, “More memories are passed down from stories —like the time he locked himself out of a car in an intersection and asked the guy screaming at him if he could borrow a golf club to smash the window to get the keys, and then did it.”
Schlossberg went on to say that Murphy is “making millions off John, making a public spectacle of it but won’t contribute any of your riches to the causes he championed, or the legacy of public service he represented,” adding, “Also odd that the actor playing the sexiest man alive is bloated!”
American Love Story is set to premiere on FX in February 2026. Paul Kelly is set to portray JFK Jr. in the series, while Sarah Pidgeon will bring Carolyn Bessette to life. The series will also feature Naomi Watts as Jackie O., JFK Jr. ‘s mother. The cast also includes Grace Gummer as Caroline Kennedy, Sydney Lemmon as Lauren Bessette, and Alessandro Nivola as Calvin Klein.
