Elon Musk Accuses New York Times of Being "Anti-White"

Elon Musk is back in his feelings — this time over capitalization.

The Tesla and X boss reposted a rant from far-right influencer Douglass Mackey (yes, the same guy convicted for election interference) who was upset that The New York Times capitalized Black but not white in a story about a high-profile murder.

Mackey claimed it showed white people are “second-class citizens.” Musk co-signed, asking the Times:

“Why is ‘white’ always in lowercase, but Black is uppercase? The NY Times is deliberate, precise and comprehensive in its anti-White racism.”

Quick fact-check for Musk & Co.: The Associated Press — whose style guide most outlets follow — intentionally capitalizes “Black” when referring to people, cultures, and communities. Lowercase “black” is just a color. As for “white”? AP explains that white people generally don’t share a common cultural identity or lived history of discrimination tied to skin color — so lowercase remains the standard.

Of course, MAGA internet is fuming. Conservative commentator Alex Lorusso raged on X:

“Did you know AP has an actual explanation for this? It’s everything you’d expect…”

Meanwhile, the rest of the internet is clowning Musk and his crew for throwing a tantrum over grammar while pretending it’s oppression.

The reactions? Savage. Check them out in the gallery below.
