Dame Dash Takes the Helm at REVOLT TV—At Least for Now

Written by on 09/16/2025

Dame Dash has a new title to add to his legacy. The Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder, mogul, and longtime disruptor has officially been named Chairman of REVOLT TV—though the appointment comes with a twist. According to Vibe, Dash will hold the position for one month, bringing his notoriously unfiltered vision to the network in a concentrated burst of influence.

As part of the partnership, Dash will deliver fresh programming from his own platform, AmericaNu Network, to REVOLT. That includes 25 episodes of his podcast, Bosses Take Losses, plus a brand-new docuseries called My Paid in Full.

In the official announcement, Dash made it clear that his latest project isn’t about retelling someone else’s story—it’s about reframing an entire era.

“When I made Paid in Full, my intention wasn’t to tell the story of one crew,” Dash explained. “Every block had their own Paid in Full. The block I was from and my own experience is my own Paid in Full. I saw things and I know people that were actually there… I’m going to showcase everyone’s Paid in Full that I’ve seen actually live the Paid in Full life. This is My Paid in Full.”

The rollout begins with a docuseries introducing key characters, with a scripted series from Michelle Valentine to follow.

REVOLT CEO Detavio Samuels called the partnership a natural fit, pointing to Dash’s enduring voice in the culture:

“As the CEO of a media company dedicated to Hip Hop culture and the diverse creators and consumers who drive it, it made sense to do business with Dame. After 30 years, he continues to be a driving force in hip hop and pop culture. People want to hear what he has to say—no matter how they feel about it.”

For Dash, the REVOLT role isn’t just a new platform—it’s a reclamation. After decades of shaping hip hop history and weathering years of legal battles, he’s back in the center of the conversation. And true to form, Dame isn’t just stepping into a chairmanship—he’s turning it into a stage.
