OnlyFans Model Charged With Murder After Fatal BDSM Session

A California mother of three and OnlyFans creator is facing murder charges after a high-paying BDSM session turned deadly, leaving a 56-year-old man dead.
According to court records, 29-year-old Michaela Rylaarsdam was charged in connection with the April 2023 death of Michael Dale, who was found unresponsive during what police describe as a bondage encounter.
Officers responding to a 911 call discovered Rylaarsdam performing CPR on Dale inside a residence. Dale was rushed to the hospital but declared brain-dead shortly after, and later removed from life support.
Investigators say Dale, who allegedly paid $11,000 for the session, requested to be “mummified” in Saran Wrap. Rylaarsdam reportedly wrapped him tightly, taped his mouth, and left a plastic bag secured over his head with duct tape. A medical examiner later ruled his death a homicide caused by asphyxia.
Court documents allege Rylaarsdam filmed the session for her OnlyFans page. Video evidence reportedly showed Dale restrained inside the plastic bag for at least eight minutes before she called for help.

Prosecutors are now moving forward with murder charges. Rylaarsdam has not publicly commented on the case.
