Young Thug Tried To Clears Up Sexuality Rumors While Dropping His New Album UY SCUTI

Written by on 09/27/2025

Young Thug is shutting down the chatter once again.

In a recent interview, the Atlanta rap star addressed long-running speculation about his sexuality. While making it clear he has no issue with gay men, Thug stressed he’s straight:

“I’m straight women. Ain’t nothing going down with no man.”

This isn’t the first time Thug has spoken on the topic. Back in 2019 on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, he told fans that people misjudge him:

“If people think that I’m gay, they’ve already misjudged. I’m the straightest man in the world. I’ve been with way more women than a lot of other straight guys.”

The comments come as Thug celebrates the release of his highly anticipated project UY SCUTI—his first full-length body of work since being released from jail in late 2024.

Originally slated for September 19, the project was pushed back a week out of respect for Cardi B’s release Am I the Drama?.

The album’s title carries meaning too. Named after UY Scuti, one of the largest known stars in the universe, Thug says it reflects both the magnitude of his comeback and his lasting influence on hip-hop.

Packed with 20 tracks, UY SCUTI comes loaded with heavyweight features: Future, Cardi B, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, T.I., Ken Carson, Sexyy Red, and Mariah The Scientist all make appearances.

With rumors addressed and new music in the streets, Young Thug is focused on reclaiming his spot at the top.
